Dachshunds love to play a game of chase whether the object is tennis balls or small animals. Fun-loving and playful, dachshunds need companionship and are prone to separation anxiety if the owner is not around. Affectionately known as the 'wiener dog,' dachshunds make good watch dogs due to their exceptionally loud bark.
